📦 What’s Inside:
The Block:
You’ll receive an 8 lb fully-colonized Turkey Tail mushroom block, handcrafted at Hernshaw Farms using local sawdust, grain, soybean hulls, and care. This block can produce 1–2 flushes of stunning, shelf-like fruiting bodies over several weeks.
🌳 How to Use It:
- Place the block in a shady, humid area — indoors or outdoors (under a tree or in tall grass works great!).
- Once you start to see little “fans” forming, mist the block 1–2 times daily.
- Want to guide the grow? Cut slits in the bag where you’d like mushrooms to form, then mist directly.
Turkey Tail prefers cooler, consistent conditions and may take longer than other varieties to fruit — be patient and keep it moist!
